GFWC – SC

Our club is also affiliated with the South Carolina General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC-SC) which was founded in 1898 in Seneca, South Carolina and now headquartered in Columbia.  GFWC-SC is made up of 45 clubs around the state consisting of over 1,000 members who work in seven areas related to the following: Arts and Cultural, Environment, Education and Libraries, Health and Wellness, Civic Engagement and Outreach, Signature Program – Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention, Junior Special Project – Advocates for Children.

When you become a member of the North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club, you become a part of an international and a state service organization which provides education, training and interaction opportunities for volunteers.
