The GFWC North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club awards North Myrtle Beach High School graduates scholarships to attend the school of their choice. In 2024, the club’s scholarship committee received 20 applications from North Myrtle Beach High School students. $6,000 in scholarships were awarded to students who not only excelled in their studies, but were involved in many activities at school and in community service.

If you are a student at North Myrtle Beach High School and wish to receive a scholarship from our club, please click on the link 2024 Scholarship application. Read and complete instructions and requirements. Please submit via email or mail to Cheryl Watson (Scholarship Chairperson), 601 Hillside Drive North, Unit #4632, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 or email to cwatson002@horrycountyschools.net on or before April 10, 2024. The club’s Purses with Purpose Charity Event allow the club to award scholarship funding.  Scholarships are awarded at the club’s May meeting and recipients will be encouraged to attend this presentation.
