Members of the GFWC-North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club partnered with  the City of North Myrtle Beach for the first Paint the Town Purple event. The purpose of Paint the Town Purple is to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness month.   Purple ribbons decorating main street (image below) show we stand with unity, hope and support for survivors of Domestic Violence. Also pictured below are Impact statements and shoes from Domestic Violence survivors.  The displays were created by North Myrtle Beach Woman’s Club Domestic Violence committee to honor survivors, these displays can be viewed in person at our 5th Annual What a Difference a Mile Makes on October 18th at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex.

Please join us at the 5th Annual What a Difference a Mile Makes on October 18th.
